Zodiac Aerospace - ECE selected by Airbus to provide A350 XWB Windshield Wiper System
Zodiac Aerospace group, through ECE Company, was selected by Airbus to design, develop, produce and support A350 XWB Windshield Wiper System.
The windshield wiper system selected by Airbus for the A350 XWB will inaugurate new pendular technology in order to increase operational efficiency and reliability, and to decrease operating costs. This new success on A350 XWB program "reinforces ECE worldwide leadership on Windshield Wiper System market segment, contributing ECE unmatched skills and technical knowledge to develop and product an innovating system exceeding Airbus requirements", says Eric Cotelle, Vice President, Marketing & Sales of ECE.
After Airbus A380 and Boeing B787, this new success strengthens ECE's market place and completes its experience in Windshield Wipers and Washer Systems development, qualification and production, proposed and custom fit on all-types of aircraft or rotorcraft. These ECE systems currently equipped long, medium and short-range Airbus, Boeing, Dassault, Bombardier or Sukhoï aircraft and Eurocopter, Bell or Agusta Westland rotorcrafts.
